What a fantastic Day / Night

Many thanks to our Patrons –

Joe Egan, Steve Arnold, Pete Pinnington, Kerry Croft and Warren Brown for making the night extra special.

To all the Golfers that enjoyed the day time and to all our Family, Friends and their friends who came to the evening.

We were entertained by the one and only Chris Connor ”Elvis impersonator” and An eagles tribute band, the night was rounded of by a floor magician — Darren O’Neil.

And many thanks to our very own photographer Rob Lane, who’s photo’s will appear shortly.


Our Many Thanks go out to Clair Brindle and all the Staff at:

Morris & Spottiswood.

They have worked so hard all year ‘2008’ and now ‘2009’ and have raised in total almost £3000 for the Charity. Some photos of raffle prize winners will be added soon.

Family Fun Day – The Crown and Cushion


and was organized by Barry Roberts, it was a fantastic day with lots going on for all the family.

The total raised on the day was £2214.

The Trust would like to say a many, many Thanks to Katrina Byrne from the Abbey National Bank in Warrington for choosing our Charity for their fundraising over the Christmas period.

And to all the customers who have also supported the Charity.

The customers helped raise £200 and the Abbey National will match fund this to bring a total of £400.

Fishing Trip 2008

Our Annual fishing event this year was held on the Lymm Dam

1st prize – goes to Ste Butler, 15lbs 8oz

2nd prize – goes to Ray Rigby, 14lbs 6oz

3rd prize – goes to Dave Holland, 14ibs 2oz

4th prize – goes to Dave Brooks, 14ibs 1oz

Top ups

It has been a great pleasure to help 17yr old Robert Murphy by topping up his mobile phone while he has been layed up in hospital over the past few months, which has enabled him to keep in touch with all his family and friends.

Robert has AML which is ‘Adult Myloid Leukaemia’ he has now found a perfect match for his bone marrow operation.

Which will now take place on the 3rd October.

Well what can we say,, what a fantastic day, many, many thanks go out to everyone involved in making it a day to remember.

Especially Mary Bonner our chairperson who was responsable for the whole event, and with all the great feedback we have recieved we will definately be organizing it again for next year.

Also many thanks to our Patrons for coming along and supporting the charity Pete Pinnington, Steve Arnold, Warren Brown and Charlie Hale.

A Donation

The Trust is very happy to have been able to present John Murphy and his family with a cheque for £1000, the money was raised from the charity event held at the Crown & Cushion in August, which was organized by 12yr old Danielle Roberts and her father Barry.

The money will be used to help John and his family (catch up) after spending the last few months in and out of hospital with his son.

Robert who has AML, he is now ‘recovering’ at home after having his bone marrow operation 2 weeks ago.

Please keep Robert and his family in your prayers.

The Trust presented little Aleksandria Baker age 6yrs with a special bike Trailer, Aleksandria suffer’s with the condition Rett Syndrome and the specially built bike trailer will help her to enjoy more family outings.

Presenting the bike trailer on behalf of the trust is Patron Pete Pinnington ( Wire FM ) Kieth Bradshaw (Trustee) & Patron Mike Wainwright ( Warrington Wolves ) with little Alexsandria and her mum Nicole.
