Harveys brings some ‘feelgood’ to Warrington
FAMILY FUN WEEKEND RAISES CASH FOR CHILDREN’S CHARITY
A weekend of family fun was organised by a Warrington furniture store to mark its reopening after a major refurbishment.
The Harveys store on Riverside Retail Park also made donations to the Shannon Bradshaw Trust for sales made during the weekend.
Store manager Paula Atkins said a face painter and a balloon modeller were on hand to entertain the children of customers, while chocolates and goodie bags of gifts were also handed out.
“The store was closed for a major refurbishment and we officially relaunched in style at the weekend. My staff worked tirelessly to ensure customers enjoyed some great discounts and also had fun into the bargain.
“Representatives of the Shannon Bradshaw Trust were in store promoting the fantastic work they do in helping children with life threatening conditions and their families. Their mascot Paddy the bear also visited the store to meet children and help give out sweets.
“We have been able to raise hundreds of pounds for the charity thanks to the purchases made by our customers over the weekend,” says Paula.
